NextHeat is an environmentally friendly bio-based component of Bioheat® fuel; the industry-accepted term for any blend of pure biodiesel with conventional high or low sulfur home heating oil.
Our NextHeat product is a blend of pure NextDiesel biodiesel with conventional high or low sulfur home heating oil that meets the precise ASTM D 396 specification. The result is NextHeat … a fuel that helps heating oil burn cleaner, making it better for the environment and home heating systems.
NextHeat Benefits
NextHeat helps heating oil burn cleaner within a boiler or furnace. Not only is NextHeat better for the environment, it can also help maintain cleaner heat exchangers, which, in turn, can help extend the life of a heating system.
NextHeat has been shown to improve the emissions, lubricity, and efficiency and cleanliness of combustion. All known gaskets, seals, hoses, and O-rings are compatible with NextHeat, in blends of 5 percent or less.
NextHeat burns as reliably and efficiently as conventional Oilheat … and definitely cleaner. Any modifications, if needed, are likely to be as simple as a technician replacing a seal or gasket in the fuel pump.
What do burner manufacturers think of NextHeat?
In tests conducted by Brookhaven National Laboratory, Bioheat® fuels at low blend levels have shown little or no negative impact on a burner's performance while simultaneously improving the emissions, lubricity, and efficiency and cleanliness of combustion. All known gaskets, seals, hoses, and O-rings are compatible with NextHeat, in blends of 5 percent or less.
